'IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH RISK'
Health Checks
The Health Check Report presents a detailed snapshot of your employee's state of
health and identifies areas that are placing them at higher risk for disease
such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, obesity etc. Recommendations are given
on how they can address these areas and improve their risk profile and therefore their overall health
and performance. Each staff member will sign a personal commitment contract
that they will make changes to their lifestyle.
Basic Health Check
Each staff member is provided with a Health Check Report outlining their overall
health based on the following components:
• Blood cholesterol
• Blood sugar
• Body Composition (fat %, lean mass %,
hydration)
• Blood Pressure
• Nutrition Profile
• Exercise Profile
• Personal Recommendations
Executive Health Check
A more thorough
check that includes the above components as well as:
•
Lifestyle (nutrition, activity, family risk,
smoking, alcohol, and disease risk)
• Disease Risk Assessment
• Health Risk Age
• Fitness (cardiovascular,
strength and flexibility)
Health Coaching
As part of the health check you can incorporate health
coaching sessions via phone, email or face to face. This helps to keep staff on
track and accountable. The coaching sessions can be held weekly or monthly.
By becoming more aware of
their current health status your staff are more likely to take responsibility
for improving their own health and therefore impacting on their performance and
enjoyment at work.
